| ArkWings LLC, with encouragement from family and friends, was founded in 1997 by the McCall family. AW is headed Dr. John McCall III and his wife Sharon. John and Sharon have over 25 years of professional and personal experience in Northern New Mexico developing and testing the components which comprise ArkWings. The seed for AW was probably begun in 1954 with John's first visit to the Taos Pueblo and the San Geronimo Guest Ranch as a seven year old. Since 1989, John has not only led groups to the Southwest but to various parts of the world including Nigeria, Kenya, Chile, and Costa Rica. the Director of Educational and International programs for the University of Tennessee Department of Family Medicine. ArkWings brings together the McCall family's multiple interest and skills under one umbrella. However, AW is more than a business. It's a passion. With graduate degrees in cultural anthropology, and sociology of the family, and many years of professional administrative and faculty positions in higher education, John and his staff are well qualified to lead each and every adventure vacation group as they guide ArkWings LLC into the the new millennium. |
